About 7 years ago I bought This Nights into Dreams Poster. I then stated doing research about the poster and found out that the poster was actually 1/2 of a promotional Lightbox that Sega had made in 1996 for a tradeshow. After researching the Nights into Dreams Lightbox for many years I was able to locate and purchase what seems to be one of the only 100% complete Nights into Dreams Lightbox. The Lightbox has a metal frame with a florescent light inside. It has the same Nights into Dreams 3d image is on both sides. It was made to display at one trade show in 1996 and was supposed to be dismantled or destroyed after the show. The Sign was manufactured by a company a called "National Graphics INC." Youtube Video: I am really trying to find out how many were made or how many are left. When i contacted National Graphics I was told that only a few were made but because of how long ago it was made they do not have an exact number. I do know that all of lightboxes were supposed to be dismantled or destroyed after the show. My Light box has the serial# of 003. This tells me that with the 1/2 poster I bought 7 years ago and with my complete lightbox that leaves hope there is at least one more lightbox out there! If anyone knows anything more about this Lightbox please reply to this thread or message me.
It's a marketing display. You can have therm made in small amounts as they are expensive. It's probably worth 200-400 usd.
Sweet! Where and Who would possibly still make something like that? Also, if i can just have one made to the exact same spec does that bring the Value down? Also, are Marketing lightboxes made for trade shows sought after or all that collectable?
Amazing piece. Considering its one of a kind and an official marketing poster, you could easily put a buy it now on ebay for a thousand and someone will take it. Is that its true worth? Maybe not but you could get that from a sega fanatic for sure or a Nights collector.
