Update (with a bit of comedy of errors):

Hmm... I seem to have damaged the video chips of 2 N64s I had that were RGB moddable. :( The first time was due to faulty wiring of the 5V and ground. The second time was stupidly hooking up the input RGB to the "output" sections of the chip. :( I guess I need to be more careful.

    I was using these parts:

    75 ohm, 1/8 watts resistor
    0.1 microfarad, 50V capacitor
    THS7314D

I'm not using the wrong parts, am I?

I installed the amp inside the N64 so that the SCART cable would still work with the Super Famicom as well. I saw no reason to modify the cable so that it was only compatible with one console when it was possible to have it be universal. The capacitors were already inside the cable when you sent it to me so I left them. I did add 75ohm resistors to the RGB lines.

Like Bad_Ad84, I had to cut the composite video out to shuffle CSYNC through it's pin, otherwise I would have had to rewire the SCART cable making it incompatible with other consoles. I felt compatibility was of greater concern than being able to use composite video given you wanted RGB.

Of course this does become a bit of a problem if you ever wanted to use the N64 on a non SCART capable display. S-Video should still work but then again not every display can use S-Video.
