Anyone going to comic con this year? I'll be head down there thursday, luckly I live in the same city as comic con (which is located downtown in san diego), but damn parking is gonna be a pain in the ass.Any way anyone else going?

  2. I'd love to, but with work and all, it's not a possibility, plus I have to save my time off for the Penny Arcade Expo in August. :smt040

Well just got back from it today(got inital d stage 2 dvd asian set), played some demos so heres the booth/upcoming game demos report.

    Nintendo
Asowme selection of games to play that were all runing on green test game cubes. Tried viewtiful joe 2 and it seems really good. Saw metroid prime 2 echoes but didnt play due to crowd, so far it looks really good, resident evil 4 was the main attraction at the booth, lots of people waiting to try it, you wouldnt belive how great the reaction was every leon gets his head cut off with the guy that has a chainsaw(hes damn fas, but even then i was satisfied with scene), and they show it full detail, but it happens fast( i must say it looks damn impresive and plays most of the time at 60fps,trust me you must see it in person).I;m guessing its the same demo that they showed at e3.Definetly getting it. Paper mario was on display and i was able to try it, graphics look very hi res, not bad from what i played. They also had zelda movie running constantly.

    Sony
Wasn;t able to have time to try out games here but they had eyetoy,jak2,killzone,gt4, inuyusha(at an anime booth) playable, had other too.

    Lucas Arts
Had a couple of pc star wars games, got to try out the new star wars game that is coming out from ubisoft on gba, so far its not bad, but the characters are drawn very plain, similar to nes style star wars characters. Only 8 levels were playable though an incomplete selectiion screen, say its about 30-40% done.

    Capcom
Had street figher 3 3rd strike arcade and street fighter 2 ce edition arcades set on free play. They also had the ps2 version of street fighter 2 playble with nubys specile controllers. Need less to say from what i saw, the remixed music is great, but the game looks very low res and soft on the edges of the characters, doesn't even look as good as the dc version.

There were many other games playable at other booths like red planet but couldnt remember the name of the booth and didnt have time to play it. Well thats my video game report from comic con.
