I'm looking for some help with converting my approx 2400 excel documents into a proper database that I can use online. The folder with all the documents in it says its 1.5gb but i'm sure that is has more then just excel sheets in the fold like pdf files.

What I have been doing so far is going 1 file at a time and trying to copy and paste all them into another file and make sure they all are following the same named columns but this is taking a long time to do and not sure is there was a better way to do it.

What is the data set, if you don't mind me asking? If you do mind, then don't answer.
Are you any good with VBscript? Write a macro to do the work for you. Make it ask for confirmation, too.
I don't have Office or even Windows, or I would help you.

I'm building a online database of games. The goal is to allow printing out lists by region or including games not released in your region. Say you want all the gamecube games that was release, it would start with say USA and then allow including European and Japanese exclusives. Once I get that finished I would like to make the site ready to allow people to track their own collection and make it easy to find trades to complete stuff you want.

One of my data sets the c64 has over 25,000 titles listed in it. I have been building these lists for a few years now and trying to include as much as possible into them such as catalog number, upc, isbn, genre, pub, dev, release dates, etc

I am not good with scripting at all. I am a desktop Linux user and mainly have been using LibreOffice Calc and Base for this

Linux doesn't support VBscript, I figured you were using Windows.

Now Linux software I can help with, and I wouldn't mind being a part of what you are doing. It's a great idea. I want access to it being done, and the fastest way is always to help. ;) What do you need done?

so far this is what I have working on the site. It gives details about the system, and then lists all the released games and what games are known to have been canceled for it

Nice presentation! Pass me some data and discription/directions on how you need it formatted. I don't know if PM's work here... I have a low post count anyway.
