I'm interested in this item, but I think it only has an hour left! I'd go up to 8000 Yen. I need someone who has an account and can get the item, and ship it to me in the UK. My lunch break has just ended, so I can't spend time sorting out a Rinkya account - and it sounds kinda complex and expensive, anyway!!

Yakumo, stop going to sleep at a reasonable hour, damnit!!

Anyway, I'll keep looking at this post in case anyone is able to help.

    Cheers!

Try Otaku Ya maybe. They just bid straight up. If you win they get commission etc, but there's no pissing about to start with, you just email them the URL and they bid. No need to deposit funds in advance or any of that faff.

Thanks, that looks promising. Unfortunately I was too late, but it is worth remembering!

Their instant e-mail reading would prove useful - Rinkya replied to me AFTER you, to give me a link to continue my signup process (I decided to try them anyway) - aargh so slow! Still, Rinkya has someone called Elaine with perfect English, so I assume they have Westerners in their employment, whereas Otaku Ya (great name!) have somewhat pigeon English.

    ShoppingMallJapan.com is another good one.

It's not an ideal way to buy inexpensive items, but it works good for other things. I have purchase many older Japanese game systems.
