Hi, I remember that back in the day firmware update for Wide-Boy CGB and/or AGB where available on the public ftp of intsys.co.jp. Anyone had the good idea to save them?
I have some stuff listed ISPD and IS-SPC or something from the server. Do either of those ring a bell?
The way the wideboys are designed it only update the software that actualy run on the N64. I believe it's just for bug fix. But it can't update FPGA code since it's loaded from a small DIP-8 Xilinx PROM.
I have a nib unit that has some floppies in with it, I will have to wait for it to show up as I am packing stuff to verify usability.
