Have a long outstanding trade with him & he is yet to finish his side of the deal (I sent about 6+ months ago!!), not responding to PMs etc. Anyone know whaere he is at? Back in hospital or something?

I think he left the boards. He might be in a hospital... Come to think of it, he would get his Brother to talk to us, or something, of he was hurt. He probably left the boards because of me, sadly enough. Some of the flamewars were quite amusing. NOT that I want to see more, mind you.
i think he left because some members here had some kind of rivality with it (not pointing anyone). it's sad, i liked him alot, like antipasta already said, he was the ''very spice of the forum'', and i couldn't agree more.
I never interacted with him personally, but I remember siding with many of his comments when I was still a lurker. The accident he was involved in was something very serious, was it not? I really hope he's okay and comes back soon.
I think 6 months ago he was probably still in the hospital. He almost died... bad car accident. Search around and you can find the details.
Yeah, this deal was before he went into hospital, said he would sort it out after he got out. He was in communication with me but then just stopped. I know he has picked up the PMs I have sent him. I guess he has just ripped me off!! Ahh well, nothing lost too bad, at least it was not worth stacks!
He never struck me as the kind of guy to rip people off. My guess is the crash affected him pretty badly, I hope he'll be back at some point to sort it out.
Didnt strike me as the type to rip me off either, I have heard from others that are in the same situation with him tho. Yeah, brother posted them & they never arrived, said he would re-post them & then stopped contact. If he responded to the PMs I sent & know he picked up then I would not be posting this. Shame 'cos he seemed like a nice fella
Thanks for the votes of confidence guys. My absenteeism was more more to do with the the growing financial burden caused by the accident and resulting lack of employment (growing bills, moreso ridiculous $800+ accident cleanup/ambulance fees - and I wonder why I pay the most taxes out of every province in the most taxed western country on earth). I am hugely thankful to have finally found work and am getting back on my feet. No 'rivalry' or tiredness of Mr Casual prompted me to 'leave'. Sorry to disappoint, Mr C, you give yourself far too much credit. I was kept away. I do have a nice shiny PC at my terminal at work and would love to kill time browsing the boards during slow periods, but f it's used for anything other than the intranet or business-related sites it's ground for dismissal; not risking that. Please see your PM crissybwoy. I am very sorry for the delay but you most certainly were not ripped off. I won't censure you at all for thinking so, though, seeing as in the end, most board members live vast diatnces apart and do no know each other personally, and when communication falters, understandably anxiety is the result.
id, I'm happy to see that after all that problems you had, you now are putting your life back on track.
I didnt mean just me, but a lot of people. I thought you were seriously injured worse than you thought and were in the hospital longer than you expected. I also thought you might have left since I seemed to annoy you. In my eyes, anyway.
