I didn't want to clog up his feedback thread with unrelated responses, so I'm trying a thread here first. Anyone know XeDK personally, or have contact with him recently? I purchased a prototype controller from him back in November, it shipped fast, no issues. With that in mind, and the fact that he had dealings with other well known forum members, I felt comfortable paying by gift for a second, larger amount of prototype hardware. Yes, the risk was mine by paying as gift. Hindsight is always 20/20. I haven't been scammed on this site yet in over 10 years, so maybe I was due. He delayed for a few weeks and on December 12 said it would ship that Monday or he'd refund me. Neither happened. Haven't heard from him since. @XeDK
I last spoke to him through skype on the 13th... I did notice a day or so ago his status changed to "Offline" which seemed weird. I'll shoot a message off to him and let you know if I get any response. I spoke to him a lot over the past year so this seems odd and would stink if he was trying to pull something.
Could also be traveling and away for the Holidays. US Postal money orders are always an option I use for big ticket items, $600.00 at a time.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the input. He could be traveling. He didn't mention being away at all, just that he hadn't shipped because he was busy at work. I'm patient (to a point) and willing to work with people, but communication is key. It's been over a month since the items were paid for. He then said he would refund. Everyone that has dealt with him previously says this isn't like him, so maybe I'll still hear from him.
