Annyone here play doa ultimate? I decieded to purchase the game from gamefly since i thought it was really good and got the case and manual into today, anyway luckily gamefly keeps everything that comes in the case and low and behold i had an unused 2 month free subscrition of x-box live, so i decide to use it and i must says its pretty damn good, theres sometimes lag, anyway i was wondering if anyone else play doa ultimate online? Thinking of creating a game where assembler members can challange eachother.
I thought DOAU was crap, it's exactly the same as the DC/PS2 game from like 4 years ago, but with a few token extra's...
Wel stilll got the clan going... played about 4 games lol We should all have a cool halo game sometime. My tags Quick2Silver.
well anyway my tags shwink, i'll probably eventually get halo 2, is there any other games thats also a must play on x-box live?
Guilty Gear XX#reload. There's no better 2D fighter out there. I'd get DOAU, except I don't have an XBox, but DOA3 engine on DOA2 (better than DOA3, IMO) + online play = compelling reason to get an XBox.
Is Guilty Gear Isuka any good? I was considering buying it the other day, but I was a bit short on cash.
Guilty Gear Isuka is pretty cool, but it's got the whole Fatal Fury thing going where you can jump from the foreground to the background, which takes some getting used to but after a while becomes second nature. And four-player Guilty Gear madness just plain rocks. Er, just for clairification (since I'm a bit confused and we're talking about XBox games) Isuka is PS2 only.
i thought about getting gulty gear isuka since its so cheap, btw way greatsaintlouis youd be shocked to knwo that doa 2 ultimate is actually running on the doa xtreme volley ball engine, its pretty sweet playing doa2 online, however no one and i mean no one is ever on doa 1 online, but im guessing that its pretty fast if only 2 people are on.
Ah, crap, that's what I meant to say, and it came out DOA3. I was always impressed with the quality of the DOA2 graphics and the speed of the game, but what I've seen of DOAU in action has totally blown me away.
I didn't buy it - don't fancy paying £40 for DoA3 with netplay when I already have DoA3 local multiplayer
Even worse I never liked DoA2 too much nor the original back on the PSone 'in the day'. DoA never really was my cup of tea.
But... BOINGY BOINGY... c'mon... Really though, I thought DOA2 an equal (and probably more enjoyable) to Soul Calibur. I recognise I'm more or less alone on this one, I'd still like to play it online.
I see. I saw some sort of Guilty Gear for the Xbox the other day - that's probably why I got them confused. I'd rather buy one on PS2 anyway, the Xbox buttons are horrible for fighting games (too much pressure required).
