Just wondering if anyone has any idea on how to get in touch with Ayami Kojima? She's the artist for Castlevania games. I can't seem to find any website or facebook details. The only ones out there are fan-made sites. On a separate note, does anyone know of places where I can find some game-related original concept artwork for purchase? Apart from collecting games, I've been getting into art collecting & would love to get my hands on some original art from game-related artists. Anyone here who also collects art that can point me in the right direction?
I know she also did some illustration work for various novels, if you contact the publishing company it could be possible to get in touch with her as I haven't seen any social media accounts, profiles or any recent non-group Konami employee interviews with her. HOWEVER, she could also be doing some illustration work (comics, novel illustrations and the like) under an alias in Japan so if you haven't checked through places like Toranoana or other places where some circles may be putting up novels, comics or illustrated posters - check through and if you can match her art style, you could always follow up with the circle to confirm it as it is quite possible she has been doing stuff under an alias (hell, the original character designer for Star Ocean - Kō Uchiyama also does some doujin work under the alias of "MEIMU" - I actually have some Clock Tower comics by him!). Unless you can get some sort of response from Konami but they could be a bit tight-lipped which is why I think getting in touch with her via a publishing company may be a little easier and that way you may also find some more or her art that you're interested in.
The publisher route is a good step. Another that I have luck with in the past is to figure out her corporate email. Most corporate email is pretty standard. if you can find an email address of someone at the Konami subsidiary she works for you can usually just substitute her name in the same manner as that persons and you have a good chance of getting it. Worst case is it gets bounced back or sent to the wrong person and deleted while at the best case is it gets to her or is forwarded her way. Either way all you lose it a little time. If you do go that route I find that being humble is the best approach.
