anyone know where to get a USB mirco pinout?

I am in need of a micro USB pinout. I cannot find a usb data cable for my phone but I did get a extra car chager. I am thinking of cutting off the micro plug and splicing in a normal USB to the other end.

The only thing really stopping me is the pinout to make sure it works. I have found pinouts for the mini-USB type 1 and 2 will those work?

If anyone knows where to find one of these pinouts that would be super.:thumbsup:

Thanks alot dev. I cut the charger cord in the middle only to find that they only left 2 wires in (pos and gnd) I was hoping the wires would all be in there and unused for me to tap into so this may be hard then I first thought.

 

damn those cheap chargers

 

You might be better off just wandering to a computer/camera shop and asking. I've seen tons of them.

It looks to be a standard USB to the slightly odd shaped mini USB from the picture but i cannot be sure since the picture doesn't show much.
