Anyone played Deep Blue Fleet on PC-FX or 3DO ?

Deep Blue Fleet / Konpeki No Kantai







Deep Blue Fleet is part of the P.T.O. series (Pacific Theater of Operations) of turn based strategy games release outside Japan on SNES and Genesis.

I haven't really been able to find actual non-anime gameplay videos of the game on PC-FX or 3DO.

 

I believe I have a "copy" of it for 3DO but never bothered to try it out. Did you just want to see how the game played?

 

I have it on PC-FX, nice intro movies, all menus are in Japanese, so a bit hard to play

 

Yeah I'd just like to see (or at least know) how Deep Blue Fleet plays and if it was fun. Impressions of either the PC-FX or 3DO versions would be great.

I'm a fan of hexagonal turn based strategy games like:
-the Nectaris / Military Madness games on various platforms
-R-Type Tactics/Command on PSP
-Iron Storm on Saturn and even a few of the other Daisenryaku games.

Not a huge fan of Advance Wars, although I do have Dual Strike.
