The last time I shipped my PS2's (yes, more than one) Sony paid for shipping to and from the repair place. I have to send them (yes, more than one) in again and now they say they'll only pay return costs. Has anyone here had both shipping cost paid recently within say the last six months or so? The customer rep wasn't the bright bulb in the box so I think I'm getting screwed. I'd just like some ammo for when I call back and bitch about this.

My sister sent hers in recently, and they paid for it.

Call bullshit on them. They're the one who sold the crappy product, not you. Ask to talk to a higher up.

Erff, Sony's repair. Sent my PS2 to them, they "fixed it"--and it broke again within 3 months. I can't believe I gave those guys $140 to "fix" my PS2. :angry

They paid full shipping too or just fixed it for free? When did your sister have it fixed?

Well, they paid full shipping for her...but that is beyond the point. They sold you the defective product, and they have to make it right. Oh, and my sister did this during the holiday season...so not too long ago.
