Anyone struggling to access Windows Live Messenger 17th Dec '07?

I can log in using MSN Web Messenger, which is very basic and isn't really any good. Tried reinstalling the latest version of Windows Live Messenger and still get the same error code and message stating that my ID doesn't exist or is incorrect.

So, if I can successfully log in under Web Messenger, but not Live Messenger it's an MS issue right?

I also redoubled my passwords just in case... I've still got access to my account so it's not a security issue. Not logged in on any other PCs.

Anyone else struggling with MSN access tonight?

 

Hmm, just tried but it totally works fine over here.

 

Strange - I wonder whether it's an issue relating to my ISP. Can't see anything wrong with the settings or whatever here. If I couldn't gain access at all, I'd start to think it was a security problem, but I am chatting to another AG member on Web Messenger. It just seems to be Live Messenger that is causing an issue.

 

Working fine here on Ex-Telewest.

 

After 3hrs it just let me in - just like a pain in the ass bouncer, stepping aside. No idea why?! Thanks for checking!

 

Their servers had issues today I believe. Microsoft, that is.
