Anyone with an ouya with google store sideloaded?

Not sure if this is the right place to post but its giving me nothing but problems lol, I currently have installed

Mod collection for ouya
root my ouya
xposed installer
superuser

All are configured correctly, but the whenever i try to load the google store it always comes up with "no connection" or "connection timed out", do i have to flash the ouya to an earlier version or something?

I'm not too tech savvy and really don't want to risk bricking the thing

 

Damn, I wanted to buy an Ouya, but havent gotten aroud to do it yet.

 

I like it, even if purely for an emulation machine

MODDING/hacking consoles

i'm pretty sure the ouya is a console, and im pretty sure im asking about something to do with modding or hacking. If you cant contribute anything worthwhile or act like a pissy bitch because its not in the right forum then dont post, just inform the mods

 

Date and time correct?. That can stop you accessing the play store.

 

Yup, just checked and the date and time is correct. just turned off the automatic time & date then tried.....still the same. thanks anyway

 

Are you using the wifi or lan port, because the OUYA is shit on wifi I always have it with lan. I had the google store installed but with the last firmware it goes and I'm not going to install it again, I didn't bought anything from the store anyway. I use it most for video, emulation and also onlive.

 

I am using WI-FI, i doubt its that because i havent had any trouble with downloading stuff on it (sometimes abit slow or in queues in the store but thats about it). But i'll give it a try later because my router only has the one ethernet port which my PC uses.

It's not THAT big of a deal since i would hardly use it apart from the odd game or two but it would of been nice to have up and running anyway, i tried using easy ADB and pushing some files into the app folder but it still does the same. If the ethernet option doesnt work i might as well give up because i will end up bricking the thing, lol
