I managed to obtain a cheap Apple TV box. I downloaded aTV Flash and I've been able to get most of it up and running without any issues (other than the first USB stick not being recognised). However, having updated the software & applications on the little unit as per instructions I cannot for the life of me get a keyboard or mouse to work on the damned thing (which was one of the main reasons I wanted aTV Flash... that and the extended file type range & additional storage capacity. Anyway, does anyone here have a similar set up and if so could they please offer me some advice on the keyboard & mouse. Everything else seems fine, apart from I can't SMART INSTALL as there is no option. Everything is allegedly installed and reporting as fine. Edit: Finally found an error log and although Magicmouse & Magickeyboard apps have been installed and reported as having been successful, there is an error elsewhere stating they have failed.
Just did a factory reset and full reinstallation and mouse / keyboard now work, but can't install Flash software. ARHGGHGHGHHG! OH: It worked last time...
I got 99.9% of it to work, just not the flash update - will have to see tomorrow whether I can sort it. Sigh!
