Aquiring special pokemon with action replay

I have an action replay v4.1 that I borrowed from my brother, but the codes on gamefaqs are for v1.2 and v3 and it seems action replay became a different format or something. there is a disc of pokemon codes for the action replay on ebay, are these online anywhere and compatible with the v4.1? or am I going to have to fins a gameshark or old action replay from somewhere and if so, does anyone know where I can get one? I just want serebii and deoxys on my ruby cart.
