someone told I can use Arcade Card Duo on the above said combo?
Is it true? Can it be done?
if it's true it saves me the hassle to get Arcade Card Pro for my SGX+SuperCD-ROM combo...

I'm 99% sure you can but my mind is slipping.

    Arcade Card

    Hello,

The arcade card Duo is designed to work with the Super CDrom², the Duo (R) (RX).
All of these units contain already the Super CD Rom OS, so the Arcade Card Duo just contains some extra ram to get the Arcade game working. So the answer is yes it'll work for you.

However on my side I use a Coregrafx II and a Super CDrom² with an Arcade Card Pro and it just work fine also.

    Cheers

    Sabre

As Sabre said it should work - the only difference is that a Duo only contains the extra ram to jump from Super -> arcade, whereas the pro goes staraight from vanilla-> Arcade. As the super cd-rom contains the ram you should be all fine

Pros better though since it works in anything and doesn't rely on the SCD's WRAM.

I've had AC Duo still factory sealed (picked up for next to nothing) but never got around to get AC Pro and now it's ridiculously expensive... :(
