Wasn't quite sure where to ask it but I guess here is good enough. What arcade board was Arcana heart made for or was it it's own dedicated PCB?
The board is made by Interpark games a subsidary of Interpark who own a lot of shopping malls in South Korea, bit like Wal Mart releasing an arcade game... Anyway the board is the IPG Nexus which has a 200Mhz ARM chip. It's one of those weird south korean boards that is used for a couple of weird games and is never seen again. http://www.interpark-games.com/eng/product_01.html
Is their Ghost board the same PCB used in Balloon & Balloon? http://www.arcadeshock.com/items/a-s-specials-/balloon-and-balloon-complete-kit-jamma-bnb-jamma-detail.htm
Yep, a minimal version of the ghost board with Eolith markings. These boards are cheap to buy, much cheaper then what Sega want for a Noami board or Sammy want for an Atomiswave.
This looks like it would be a fun board to develop an arcade game on. I wonder if they sell a single developer board? I've contacted them, but haven't heard back yet.
Maybe, you'll just need to pretend you're a start up games developer in the US with a team of talented start and maybe they will send you a sample dev board. Going to port Frog Feast to that?
Coinop has the pcb listed as running in vga only and priced at $1950.48 New, pcb only. Hopefully it will be affordable in 6 months or so and the vga signal won't be as picky as the Atomiswave or Konami's Pyson hardware.
