I have a copy of Archipe***** for Amiga but as you can see from the picture its not in a proper box and only comes with a paper envelope sleeve (the Manual is good quality and obviously a lot of effort went into it so i'm wondering why the sleeve was so cheap). I have searched everywhere for info on this and can't find any, though one of you guys might be able to shed some light on this.
That wasn't how the game was sold as retail. I remember the box as I had the game, but it was second hand and I don't know whether the sleeve was inside the box or not. Certainly, I can confirm that this game for the Atari ST and Amiga had a very good quality cardboard box as standard.
Yeah thats the copy i've always known but got this one with a bunch of other games. It isn't a pirate cos the manual and disk are too good quality, does anyone know of the developer? I'm thinking this could been an improvised case after the box may have been damaged but good quality printers back then cost £££££
Umm, if the manual is such good quality, it should mention who the developer and publisher were ;-) What you have there is an incomplete copy. There was a poster with it, too: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ARCHIPE*****-...14&_trkparms=72:1121|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318 Methinks you might have an envelope that the poster came in, but no poster. There are plenty of Amiga forums out there. Try googling Amiga forums ;-)
None of the boxed editions i have seen include the envelope. Maybe it's just something homemade to replace a damaged box. Never liked the game much anyway.
