hey guys i have a question, i have a serious amount of ps2 games going into like 400 that ive been collecting from 2003 to now, and ive been thinking if the new HD loader can take large sized sata hard drives via a 3rd party sata network adapter, and if so how well does it behave? is there any issues that i may face?

OPL doesn't have a game limit that I know of. I have the entire ntsc collection on a nas and it loads them all up in the list.

Do you have any idea of how much bandwidth does OPL require, for network loading/streaming?
I was thinking of hooking the ps2 slim (don't have network adapters for the phat ones yet) to a La Fonera wireless repeater but I expect the signal to be on the poor side (~1Mb, 6,5Mb at best).
It's been ages since I last messed with OPL but at the time it seemed mature enough. I just tried usb (1.1) and for ps2 isos (no POPS stuff). Is there any significant difference between LAN loading and USB or even HDD, using OPL?
