I have 2 xboxs. One is a Halo LE (1.4 I think) and the other is a black 1.0 or 1.1 (has GPU fan) I am wanting to swap out mobos, HDDs, ect... Thing is im not 100% sure that the cases are the same. Does anyone know if the cases are diffrent in any way (IE maybe has diffrent screw patterns or something)
I swapped a 2002 and 2004 model insides before, and the cases were the same, except they were just normal black ones. The newer board didnt have the usb daughterboard but it didn't seem like the case was different.
The 1.0 thru 1.5 are the same,on the 1.6 the shielding on the case where the motherboad rest is a little bit different.
Yeah it worked out preaty well. There was one screw hole for the power supply that was diffrent but I just ignored it and its working fine now. Thanks for the help guys.
