Post which ones you have and we can sort them.

i don't know about any being really rare but the Japanese Dreampassport 3 includes a Mega Drive and PC Engine emulator. The Mega Drive EMU had shit audio though. Nobody has managed to rip these emulators from the discs yet.

It's mostly the US ones. 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. I'll look in storage this weekend for any Passport discs and think I have one or two.

3.0 would be considered the hardest to find of the North American PW browsers. The other two are fairly easy to find, especially 2.0.

Surely the Megadrive emulator was the same one that was hacked and widely distributed at the time, Segagen? It always surprised me that the PC Engine emulator wasn't ripped.

You used to be able to email Sega and request a web browser disc. It took me several attempts a few years back but they did eventually send me one.

    I'm sure I have a PW 3.0 somewhere around here. I found a Passport 2.0. Any good?

Ah yes, the Japanese Mircrosoft web TV disc isn't all too common. Not really super rare though.

The rarest thing I have is the "game pack" that has two games and a web browser and special packing. They started giving it to people when they bought a Netlink. It's on ebay right now for 20 bucks buy it now. Guess it's not too rare.

The Game Pack with Sega Rally NetLink Edition, Virtual On NetLink Edition and the PlanetWeb 3.0 is not rare. Factory sealed copies go at less than 50 in eBay.
I think the people are asking pics of the other NetLink stuff.
Some time ago a Victor japanese modem (without card slot) caught some attention here.
Only Daytona CCE NetLink is rare, actually. Bomberman is expensive but available, Duke Nukem is less than half of the Bomberman price and very available and Sega Rally and Virtual On are very available even sealed copies without the Game Pack. Some sellers have only the sealed jewel cases of the games without the numerous inserts that come in the Game Pack. If you have factory sealed Game Packs, don't throw everything away and keep only the discs cases. =(

Don't have any of the Japanese stuff. We just used retail US Netlink's to test on. Sorry.

I know I have a Daytona around here somewhere and I think it was the Netlink version. I'm still digging through my storage. I have a silver of Duke Nukem. That's too bad to hear about the Netlink stuff not being that rare. :(

I think the last DC browser was mail order only, you had to ask Sega to send you one.

I wouldn't have thought these were at all rare, didn't know about that amazing sounding Japanese one with emulators tho.
I've certainly got the standard dreamkey 1, a few dreamkey 3s (sega sent me one, another came with pso v2), an irish dreamkey 1.5 I think I have 2.0 somewhere too.
