Adultery is a crime in S. Korea. And apparently, you will serve a custodial sentence if caught.

 

However beating your wife/husband on the street is entertainment for the cops, they won't touch you, many police officers are guys on national service and so due to their age they're often afraid to break the order of respect and step in to do something.

 

Looking at my spending records, I can see that I did indeed spend a month in Japan and spent a grand total of Y21,532 (back when the dollar was worth Y120)! It's possible to do so, but I have a loving girlfriend whose family owns a largish farm.

I can understand budget travel, but the thing that makes me sick is when people come over here, spend thousands upon thousands of dollars/pounds/euros on games and bullshit, and then cringe, and often downright refuse to eat proper food. You shouldn't be eating fucking McDonalds in your own country, let alone a completely foreign one.

 

I can't believe that dude's site is still going... I glanced at it a few years ago.

If you read between the lines and do some digging on his site, you'll begin to see more of the real picture:

- He's just the friend of a pro skater - simply a hanger-on trying to ride on his friend's success.

- He claims he's a clothing designer, but the only evidence I saw was a t-shirt with a few words typed out using a standard font :lol:

- There's a video of him in the USA - how is he getting around? His mother is driving him.

 

Yeah, thats pretty much what I would have suspected.

 

Tbh, my last week trip to Kyushu reminded me a lot of this topic as I ended up spending half of the nights at random people's houses who would invite me and insist they pay for our (highly overpriced) dinners and everything. Very fun ofcourse, nothing like drinking shochu at 3 in the night with some random person's parents but on the other hand quite hard if you speak no Japanese I suppose.

gross to me to be honest, i would spend the time asking some locals about shopping, get enough of an opinion if possible then head out to find these shops, stores or what you may want to call them. I do that when i travel, I don't eat much fast food though so bas for you

Some people just i guess are a tad narrowminded?
i personally think it would be great to live for a month with the locals, if possible and experience a different culture all together, its so much more open then north america which i have complete respect for! thats the thing, its not funny or laughable its really interesting. But then again im white. always will be just another white person :110:
