Are PS3 buttons & Dpads compatible with PS1 & PS2 controllers?

So the dpad broke on my psx controller and I was able to swap it out with a PS2 dpad.
Now, I've seen a load of PS3 replacement button's & dpads on ebay but are they compatible with PS1 & PS2 controllers?

 

I'd say they are, unless Sony moved the notches around, meaning the buttons won't fit into the shell. Which sounds like something they would do.

 

LOL I know what you mean. They're really cheap so I'm just going to take the risk and buy one.

 

i also bought one set from ebay to fix my dual shock one controller, i will post feedback as soon i will receive them.

 

my bad, i was talking about ps3 replacement conductive rubber pads for my dualshock 1. They work perfectly!
