I haven't seen too many files for modern arcade games leaked on the internet. For example, why wouldn't I be able to find the game files of the Luigi's Mansion arcade game from japan circulating around the internet? Is it harder to extract files from modern arcade machines than from older ones?
Most games are kept from the public so people can make money from them when they release multi game kits, that being said the taito type x is getting a decent stream of releases recently
Most modern arcade games are really hard to dump because they are encrypted and some of the harddrives have a kill mechanism if you try to dump it. Only games that are current and circulating are the bemani games since konami has shitty encrytion.
So, cabinets like the Star Wars Battle Pod game have better encryption these days? How come modern games don't do something like that?
It uses System ES3X which I already have dumped. It has 7 encryption keys and on-board TPM to keep peoples hands of it. The system is closed tight. ES3A Games Include: - Mario Kart Arcade GP DX ES3X Games include: - Tekken 7 - Mach Storm - Star Wars Battle Pod
Just wondering, Any clue what kind of system specs Namco's ES3X System has? I know it is pc based but could not find much more information then that.
I saw a fake link to tekken7 arcade dump download. All Melty Blood ringwide dump are proved to be the PC version, there's no HDD dump for sega/namco pc based game leaked in my opinion. Curiously no one interesting hacking wahlap/IGS pc based arcade game now.
Now that System ES3X has been dumped, is it easier to get the files from those arcade games? I'm not an expert on this type of stuff.
I have the game files yes but I am not leaking them nor the method how to exploit the system. Maybe in some years when the system is older.
