Hi all, just want to know if anyone has purchased from this ebay user, they seem too cheap to be true. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-...o_Game_Accessories&hash=item27c602c725&_uhb=1
Can't vouch for that particular seller, but new Dreamcast controllers are available for just as cheap on ebay.co.uk from reputable sellers. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sega-DREA...s_VideoGameAccessories_JN&hash=item2eaaccf22e
I have bought new ones from Ninjacastle before (the link Marmotta posted). Seem legit to me. Their postage was a bit weird though. They said they sent it in 2 boxes, but only got 1 with everything in it. But they threw in a loose game (Jet Set)!
I brought my DC controller from the seller in OP's post, they're legit. Seems like Sega Europe made a few too many controllers, since the other brand new DC controllers I've seen for sale are also the European version.
I bought a couple of new DC vibration packs from ninjascastle UK, was really cheap. Seems legit. I just assumed there was a pile of unused/unsold accessories out there.
There are so many cartons full of new PAL controllers out there, that it makes no sense for someone to fake brand new copy's in blister. In other words; I highly doubt these are fake.
I belive these are legit controllers for the French market, for some reason Sega and Nintendo sold alot of games and accessories in these blister packs only in France during the 90's and early 00's.
before christmas i bought a brand new controller 2 brand new ntsc vmus and a rumble pack for like 12 gbp
I think that two years ago Play Asia was selling wholesales of the european version. These lots come and go. Also, the european VMUs too are vastly available. I think that these are easier to find than the clear colored ones with the black box (millenium edition?)
I think a lot of that was down to Bigben Interactive, who distributed a LOT of gaming stuff on behalf of other companies in France and seemed to just love throwing an extra layer of packaging with their company details on.
