You like bands like Sepultura, Sarcofago, Overdose? Cogumelo Records has released a book with it's past 30 years history. Its very ilustrated with images from journals and album covers. Only 1.000 units made. If someone wants it, I can arrange to send it internationally. I know there are some headbangers here \m/
Sure. I'm really enjoying Sepultura's last LP, Kairos. Very well trash's there. Although I was raised as a punk, so I'm more familiar with Brazilian HC/punk bands, such as Ratos de Porão, Matanza and Garotos Podres. AFAIK, one of the biggest Sepultura's influences was finnish classic HC/metal band Terveet Kädet(Healthy Hands in English). I really recommend you to listen to them, especially their first releases(Rock laahausta vastaan, Ääretön joulu). \m/
Man.. i remember very well VULCANO. That was the real deal!! The song READY TO THE EXPLODE was INCREDIBLE speed, and true current black metal pioneer . The song that named the LP: "Bloody Vengeance" was DOOM! Unfortunately , VULCANO was not so popular as SEPULTURA .. but in that ages both bands were same popular at least here in Uruguay. I was playing at a local band called BLASPHEMIA and not to much to choose from in Latin America out o Brasil: Pentagram (Chile.. with legend David Lombardo on drums...later joined Slayer, and most incredible, later workes with John Zorn in experimental Game Music in the project Xu Feng), Sadica, Post Coito, Salem, Blasphemia , Cross (Uruguay), Dr. Jeckyll, V8 (Argentina).....
Very cool, wish I had some extra cash. I need to check out Xu Feng, sounds like an interesting project. ^_^_^
