The crop circles were just some joke by a British Farmer from what I remember. He actually confessed on TV.

regarding the hexagon, i went on the actual google earth and found it myself, too after being sceptic about it. Try it yourself, and zoom in/out.

hmmmm Area51 is also known as Groom lake, if I am correct, and the base was first officially known as a base, after some court trials. But Area 51 is an exiting phenomenon. :)

I had a look at area 51 awhile back while at work, and i was surprised that google earth was able to get such good shots of the area. One thing that struct me however was this aircraft on the runway. It appears to be nothing more than a normal 737, though, its wing is quite different...

Could be just a light reflection, but it looks as if it's a part of the wing

I used to have Google Earth as well. I also looked over Area 51. I was quite amazed at how close up I could get, too.

The pictures on google earth are like 5 or so years old. That 737 is how the workers are taken to work. The stuff near the wing could be the treadmill to take out any cargo it could be carrying from its cargo bays or could jet fuel.

In that photo of the plane, that's like the stairs to get in and out of the plane.

There was a website about Area 51 and the whole alien thing that used to have regular pictures of Area 51 from the air. They had great detail, and they even did labled versions explaning what everything was (or at least what the assumed).

I've got Google Earth on my other computer, I'll have to check these out.
