Arghhh! Gotta study but can't keep away from the forums!

It's 12:21 in the morning, I've got two tests tomorrow back to back in fluid mechanics and statistical quality control. Damn you forums for being so addictive and damn you studying for being so boring!! Argh!

 

Dont worry, that happens to us all.

 

That is me this semester most definitely... hell semester and then some. I pretty much run on coffee and cigarettes anymore.

You're not the only one buddy! I have a thirteen page research paper due Friday. Instead of devoting time to it, I check these forums. :redface:

 

Ouch! Good luck with that though, I know how you feel, I usually have a lab report to do every week, luckily this was test week though. I can't wait for Thanksgiving break just so I can have a couple days where I don't really have to worry about much.

 

My current week:

Wednesday 3 Page essay due.
Thursday 8 page essay due
Friday Short Story due...which can be anywhere from like 8 to 20 pages...but I haven't had any time to start it yet.

I'm one of those never sleep types....up all times of the day...ASSEMbler seems to be the same way...I'm always surprised to see him logged in here at all the weird ass times I am.

 

I can BullShit a 2,000 word "B" research essay in 4 hours. To me, that's something I'm proud I'm capable of doing .

When I go back into college next year I'll be building models, drawing, etc. so thats going to be a bit more daunting than writing.

 

The worst, well don't remember a lot [one year has passed ] but one think is for sure a lot of numbers and a teacher saying bulls**t, not a very good combination for your head :banghead: Well now i am relaxing on my couch all day and checking these forums 5 times [minimum] per day, every day. Keep it up :evil:

 

I seem to work best when I have to get something done. I sit down and write a great paper in one go, no revisions or drafts. I've got a couple big ones left that are due right after thanksgiving break, like they think people are actually gonna do work during it. So I'll have to do them both sometime between now and next tuesday, of course the weekend is out of the question..

 

You sound just like me. I work best under pressure. I can pound out a 15 page lab report in an evening if I have to. Two weeks ago I had 3 lab reports due on the same day. I ended up writing 54 pages total in 4 days. My favorite bar made a nice chunk of change off me the night I got them all done...

[edit] And working over Thanksgiving break? Totally out of the question. Thanksgiving break is gods gift to us students.

 

With work and Graduate School, I should probably browse less. But when I get up early to do some work for school or get my class ready, I check the forums. I do so again in the afternoon if I get back home, and once again at night when I'm back from the other job.

What can I say? I like this place.
I still sleep 8 hours a day, though.

 

i find checking it during class time is best....makes class slighty less boring.........well alot more less boring.....making 200000 0000000000000000 0000000000000 webpages for a damm credit is worthless....as if the webpages are all different!....damm you golive!

I lurk and post while at work everyday. I really shouldn't, not that is hampering me at work, but well it kinda is .

 

ever been caught then have to explain what your doing?.....they tried to have the site banned from our servers at school, but i protested to the head comp teacher that assembler games is used as a resource for properly managed forums and design........and that all the forums were about making websites....LMAO.....she fell for it............

 

I used to check the forums alot more but ive been very busy with work and university so now only once every few days

 

I'm kinda the same way, except when I'm busy I tend to check the forums more than when I've got nothing to do. Something about having to study makes me want to do everything but so.
