Asian Pal Megadrive model 2 question

    Just got this in today but since Im not in pal land games show up in black and white,there is already a switch on there,I can go from 50 to 60hz.

    My question is can I swap the oscillator on my US genesis model 2 to the Asian Pal Megadrive,would that work and display games in color.

    Well I desoldered both oscillators and installed the one from my US genesis model 2 into the asian megadrive 2 and success:thumbsup:

    could you not have just added a PAL/NTSC switch?

    The system had a switch to 50 to 60 hz but when I switched to 60 is was still in black in white,that's why I used a ntsc oscillator so I can get color.
