What promo items were released for Assassin's Creed 1.

Also were there any posters or Videogame covers?

    There are Assassin's Creed collectors?!?!

The UK Game exclusive limited edition version had a book containing artwork and a figurine. Oh, and a DVD.

There was a "normal" tin limited edition, too:

There were promo posters and standees sent out to shops. I think there might have been shelf wobblers, too. What do you mean by covers? There would have been the DVD covers sent out to shops to put in DVD cases, yes. I don't remember seeing much else.

    Found this:

    And these:

    And this:

This was the European poster. We had tons!...

Looks like there were other posters made to sell:

    WOW nice list

    I like the hoodie !

Now we just need 20 of them so we can really freak out the employees at best buy as we all enter the store in unison chanting.

I never understood why people liked Altair and stuff from this game so much. Not bashing you of course. I'm talking about on Xbox Live and stuff when people have Altair in there name or your playing Soul Calibur and they made him with create a charectar. It didn't seem like the game was that great or anything. I'll have to check it out sometime.

Don’t be in a hurry. I rarely buy launch priced games, and I had already heard about the stupid story behind the game but I liked the crusade’s atmosphere and it seemed a nice enough platform/action game (I was looking for something in the line of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, also from Ubisoft), so I got it, and it was my worst gaming purchase since Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.

The problem is that basically you repeat the same movie over and over again. I mean, the missions are always the same and the game plays itself: the jumps are impossible to miss and almost all of Altair’s actions are performed with only one button. The combat is just a matter of holding down the block button and hit the attack one in the right time.

There’s really no challenge in the game (well, apart from finding a whole lot of hidden flags).

    Nice game retro,

I decide to give it a try for something different than my usual COD gaming. It takes abit getting use to on the controller end of thing but I thing its an interesting game.
