Had the game a few days, very nice graphics but very boring gameplay; The levels are almost repeated. Next Gen gaming is too easy.
I have the PERFECT comic to post about that, but it tends to get admins sued by Ubisoft when its posted. Lowtax got sued because someone posted it in the SA forums, iirc. I haven't played the game, but that one posterwhore chick really whored that game OUT. Jade Raymond or something like that.
I saw that comic I'm still waiting for Jade to do that to me for buying the game. And I LOVE IT I don't need what jade gives for buying......games awesome enough as is.
I have not been able to see that one yet (it keeps getting pulled before I have a chance to check). I think Jade gets too much crap because she is a girl in the gaming industry. Yet at the same time ubi pimps her too much like their golden producer (ubi has far better ones internaly that you'll never hear about). -- edit -- LOL, Ask and ye shal recieve. I got two PMs giving me the commic.
Subbie... Type Jade Raymond comic into google and click the 2nd link. The game has some major flaws with the most glaring being both the repetitiveness and lack of depth of the missions. Still...The potential is there for a good sequel. I would have given it a 7 out of 10 at most.
Biggest issue I have is with the "Twist" it's unessessary and takes away from the game too much. I'd rather it have actually taken place in 1191 than in the genes of some guy who's memory is being read.
Sadly the whole reason that exsist is so they could easly make a sequal. My biggest issue was review sites kept treating it like it's some massive secret which was freaking retarded.
well even before its release it was said that the game might include time travel, since they don't want to limit it to the mediaval times. That said, I m under the impression that this game is just an improved version of existing formulas, tailored with good production values - hardly the talents of a producer
Assasin's Creed was a major letdown, specially the ending. Man! is like they were getting closer and closer to the deadline and one guy said "dude WTF! we got no ending yet!" and the other say "dunno, wait I get my bong and thing something up...." And there you go:lol: About this girl Jade, well yeah she has an ego so enourmous that not even quantum laws could measure it, and her entire website is nothing but an exageration about everything she does... But that comic is NASTY! seriously, like an insult to any woman thats not ugly nor a bimbo (yeah, even if you dont believe it theres lots of smart good looking women out there). BTW, the comic is made by teh dave of former chugworth academy fame, which is even more weird since he always seemed like against the gratuitous degradation of women (most of the jokes on CA strips were about that).
meh, i didn't feel like Bioshock's ending was tacked on. I thought it was great and I can't wait for the next installment!
Nah, both bioshock endings (the good one and the kinda bad one) are pretty decent, but AC's is really out of nowhere, like one of those cheap ass sci-fi films from the 60's that when out of money the producers would replace the rest of the script for an ending where it turns out everything was a dream or some shit. Seriously, animus? ancestor's memories? I make better stories when drunk at 5AM!
for all you know it could be a caveman's dream of being in the future and dreaming of being in mediaval times. Now that's two sequels guaranteed! on the topic of the comic, political figures have sufferred many more humiliating satirical references, many including bold homosexual activities, in clear contrast with those persons' apparent habbits. How is an image of that lady sucking cock, offensive to her, when it is almost certain that she has experienced the meat down her mouth at some point in her life? I find it very hypocritical when people pretend to be offended when they actually do these things in their personal life. I mean if it's that wrong to describe it should be as wrong if not more to do it. right?
Caveman's Creed:lol::dance: Well we could go to canada, rent a room near her house and spy her;-) Jokes aside, I think what we have here is another John Romero situation, which is some guy (in this case a gal) overhyping a game by using his own persona as collateral. But I think this whole comic deal could be considered some form of male chauvinism since while we all agree romero was a real dick when he said "John Romero's About To Make You His Bitch....Suck it down" (specially since daikatana blows ass) saying that just becos Jade is a woman and shes using herself to promote a game (like most men do) then that makes her a whore, it could be considered some form of hypocrisy, if not direct sexual discrimination...
nah, gamespot was labeled as "cashwhore". Should the legal entity that is gamespot take offence? People are entitled to their opinion and I can live with the fact that a couple of guys think I m an asshole or a dick. Publicity is a double-edged sword. Not everyone will make nice remarks, and not everyone will like you. One has to learn to take the good with the bad. You'd guess a person her age would have understood that already.
Personally, I'd never heard of Jade before the comic debacle - Assassins Creed was just a game that was coming out. I feel it's despicable what the comic artist did - I feel repulsed that someone could be so inhumane towards anybody. It's not even a funny concept - it's just twisted. I hope that one day the artist and her meet so she can break his fingers, thus preventing him from working ever again.
So.. people are not allowed to poke fun in the most extreme ways at others? Says who? I agree and defend your right to disagree with the artist but shunning people who don't share the same views as us isn't going anywhere and I m dead against it. If you have a certain view or an idea, you should at least be able to communicate it, as long as you're not passing it off as the truth, ie misrepresenting. Since it is a comic and many people have already laughed, I see no reason why this should be treated any differently than many other sexually naughty sketches. I didn't think less of Jade when I saw the comic, and I didn't feel sorry for her either. I didn't even laugh, because I didn't know that she promoted her game so much that she gave the impression of a whore. But that's the deal: play with fire, get burnt - no good crying like a baby after that and wanting to get revenge. Just because we don't like certain things (say, liver for example, i hate it) it doesn't mean that other people shouldnt be allowed to produce and enjoy them.
