FYI, this was sold in 'Future Zone', an offshoot of the 'Beatties' toy store group back in the day in the UK. Supposedly there was a way to get a game built-in, but when I asked the guy when I bought mine, he had no clue about it.

The UK was 240v power supply at one point and RF was on all TVs.

The system was pretty good, I never had any compatibility problems. It would play Virtua Racing, etc. However, as it got older it would suffer from occassional problem where it would show a solid blue screen and a contant tone until reset was pressed a few times.

The unit was not compatible with a 32X, but it did work with the MegaCD (I tried it once).

It also had a very low quality paper printout page of instructions, signed by a guy called 'Smoke'. The font looked like typewriter text!

It was sold for the about 10 GBP less than the Mega Drive at launch, I think about 80 GBP.
