Astrocade Saturn Demo

Has anyone heard anything about an early demo game called Astrocade for the Saturn? In my random Saturn browsing yesterday, I found it mentioned this resume for a gentleman who use to work as a Senior Game Artist during that time:

Some of the resume's of folks who use to be in the industry provide some neat tidbits of info. Maybe it was later known as a different name, it just spiked my interest and I was curious if others had heard of it.

hmm, never heard of this but it does sound interesting. There's not much out there when it comes to Saturn demos. Some tech demos would be lovely to see.

Hmm it might be on a DTS Toolkit disc. I'll take a look and get back on that.

The files were already pre-compiled and just needed to be put into ISO format. It's a pretty wacky 3D pinball game, some screenshots:




The documentation was kind of neat, going over some of the technical aspects for new programmers for the system. There are also artist notes. Very cool! Thanks to SegaFreak for providing the files and VBT for compiling the binaries into a playable format!

Agreed, pretty terrible Still a neat find though, thanks for the video and ultimately finding the source (which is far more interesting than the game itself)!
