My brother got a very brand new internet connection and it's letting me use it from here (Brazil) there (Netherlands). Speed is 120mbit and I'm having a bittorrent party with some 500GB torrents. The problem is that even with a win7 standard installation and utorrent the speedy is bottlenecked by the netbook an Asus eeepc. Max is 5.4mb/s at the moment. So I was expecting 15 mbytes that is the max for 120mbits. We tested the same torrents in his other computers that he uses to render video files and we can reach this speed. The netbook is pluged to the router via cable, no wi-fi. Seted the utorrent priority to real time but no change. Any idea how to pass this limit?
onboard Ethernet is fine. can have a bottleneck if it's actually a USB one internally, rather than a 'proper' one. You can tell this by checking the device ID. Not only that... It's a netbook, what Ethernet card is he going to put in it? Best case some minipcie card, which likely isn't the issue anyway. It's likely just crap CPU, crap ram, crap hdd. Buy a better computer is the fix
Yeah, I imagined that a better computer would do the job, the sad part is that I'm not the one who makes those kind of decisions.
viagra super active in australia We were at the edge of divorce when I decided to try this. Years and years without delight of orgasm and sexual satisfaction. This could ruin any life but not ours. female viagra pills worked and I always keep the pill near my bed as nobody knows when my wife asks for more sex. By the way, buy kamagra works not worse than brand, so next time I can save my money
and.. the netbook is dead. Just got an e-mail from my brother.. it seems that the network adapter died LOL. So all the 6TB of torrent that I asked him to download will be processed by the main PC.
The Asus eee PC network adapter seems easy enough to fix. I swapped mine out for an Atheros card so I could do network sniffing and stuff.
