Hello I picked up a Atari 800xl today. I would like to see if I could get it working but I am missing a few things. Problem is I am not sure what all I am missing. I figure I am only missing one or 2 things, but this is why I am making this post since I am not sure. Also I have no clue where to find this stuff at for it.

So here is the run down I picked all this up for 15$ I figured a great deal I cant pass it up. For 15$ I picked up the 800xl in great shape and it also came with The Atari 1050, 2 games (Donkey Kong and Ms.Pacman) and two hookups. One is the Atari 9v power supply. I think the is for the 1050 not the 800xl. Also I have the wire to connect the 1050 and 800xl but thats it. So I know I am missing a video and power cable but not sure where to get them.

Here is some pictures any help would be great thanks

Both the AV cable and power supply can be found on eBay for reasonable prices. Also, welcome to the world of the Atari 8-bit! The A8 is one of my favorite vintage computer platforms and there's loads of great games out there, both on cart and disk. Have you looked into getting a SIO2PC adapter yet? I have a USB SIO2PC adapter, and with special software you can use your computer as a virtual disk drive, among many other things. Check it out here: http://atarimax.com/sio2pc/documentation/

No I really have not got that far yet. I really want to dive into some games tho. Happy the few I picked are both really good games. Lol the funny thing is when I seen it today the first thing popped in my head wa Oregon Trail. Even tho the game is not made for the 1050 just brought back some good memories of big disc games lol. I am going to have to get the cables soon
