This a title listed at Cyberroach's Unreleased or Unfinished Jaguar games section but not much it's known about it other than the entry avaiable on the website listing such title, with a image of a crocodile lawyer called Al E. Gator (whose name was confirmed by B.J. West himself): http://www.cyberroach.com/jaguarcd/html/mascot.htm When i showed the image of the character back to him on the facebook group Jaguar Sector III on January 20th, 2017 where i mistakenly said it was one of the planned characters for the title he had this to say plus other things as well of interest: Then on January 28th, he showed at JSIII for the first time ever, a new concept art of one of the proposed mascot characters for Atari besides Al E. Gator, Arlo Armadillo: The funny thing is that, if you turn this (http://www.bjwest.com/BIWN/) to just this (http://www.bjwest.com), you'll be thrown to B.J.'s digital portfolio, where you can see a lot of his artwork for his personal projects, the projects he has worked on & games. There, on the Illustration section, click on Traditional Illustration and you'll see more concept arts of Arlo Armadillo. On March 5th, when he showed artwork & models of Black Ice, White Noise (another unreleased title for the Atari Jaguar CD that he worked on), when i mentioned Arlo again he had this to say as well: On March 10th he posted the rest of the artworks full-screen on the group. When i gave a positive comment about the artwork he had this to say about what Atari thought of Arlo himself: This is just part one of the story, i will post the artwork that he posted on March 10th + other more tidbits about it...
Wait until next week guys. Since ASSEMbler doesn't allow you to upload more than 10 images i can't show you a very special thing i got from B.J. himself but it will be worth it
Ok, here's the second part about this planned game for the system. The third & last part about this will be the big one so, look foward to that! In the meantime, here's the rest of the artworks about Arlo and his enemies...
Hehe these remind me of the kinds of drawings people would drag in the margins of their paper back in highschool.
This is the last part of this thread...this document pretty much sums up what Arlo Armadillo was going to be as a game. I really want to thank B.J. West for giving me this. It really is special to behold
