ATTENTION: Partnernet may be un-whitelisted

Hey guys, I was just playing around on my kit today when it said there was an update available from xbox live (I'm on 16197) it hasn't done this since the whitelist, so I tested my connection to Pnet, and check this out! It didn't deny my connection. If this thread is against the rules or anything please take it down. I just wan't to let you guys know. I'm trying to take pics right now but my web cam is acting up. Anybody on 16202 please check it

That's awesome, and interesting. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted right.

 

This happened to me two days ago. It's pretty weird.



Edit: I'm also back on.

 

It may be Microsoft updating their service so it's faulty or the update bricks consoles that are not whitelisted (Big leap of randomness, probably won't brick a console.) It'll probably go back to normal. If you can go onto the network, see what kind of goodies developers uploaded.

 

I'm guessing it's just some bugs. I expect it to be back to normal soon, maybe even tomorrow. Pretty cool to see PNet again.

 

@Cameron hey man, whenever you get the chance you don't mind if you can upload a pic to my pm how PNet looks like? I know it's an alternative Xbox Live Marketplace just curious tho. p.s how does system updates work on a XDK console? can it's update file function the same way as if your putting it on a USB flash drive like in retail consoles?

You still need to be whitelisted to access pnet.

There is a white list on pnet now.

If you're not part of a whitelist, you can't connect to pnet.
But they are not "banned"....

 

If you guys are going to start a cat fight then do it PMs, this thread isn't going anywhere. Can a mod please close this?
