    Ends at midnight!! AUCTION:pS2 TEST,PSX Debug,PS3 dev controller,Proto SNES/NES games

    AUCTION IS NOW CLOSED.
    Thanks everyone. :)

This is an ASSEMblergames.com auction taking place right here in this thread. This is not an eBay auction.

Please post your bid in this thread, and I will make my best effort to keep the 1st post updated with the current bidding price and high bidder.

Closes 11:59PM PST (GMT -8) on Tuesday my time, California USA. International buyers welcome if you have at least 50 posts.

All items have no opening bid price, and I will be present at 11:59 7/28 / 12am 7/29 to confirm that the auction is over.

I will describe items to the best of my knowledge, and want every buyer to be happy. None of my items are Acclaim. Please allow up to 5 days for handling time. Shipping is more convenient for me, but local pickup is fine, I'm located in the Los Angeles area. I am not willing to do any side deals during this auction, please post your offer publicly. No proxy bids, please post actual amount you would like to bid. If, and only if you win the item, and am willing to accept atari 2600 proto trades, or Neo geo trades as part of or the full payment. You are welcome to contact me prior to bidding as to a value to put toward your trades in your bid price. If you offer me a game that we mutually decide is worth $200 in this trade, and you want to bid $5 above your offered trade, please bid $205 and understand that you will be obligated to follow through with said trade +$5 or pay the $205 in full. No after-the-fact haggling, I don't want to rip you off and vice-versa. I will gladly supply more pictures upon request. All bids do not include shipping, please contact me for actual shipping costs to your destination.

Now to the good stuff. :)

PS2 TEST Debugginging Station model DTL-H30101 USA unit. This is one of the best debugging units, Plays all retail software, CD-r software, and dev software NTSC-U,NTSC-J, or PAL. Works great, includes component video cables, and official controller. Plays all CD and DVD discs fine. Very clean condition.
    Current bid: $171 - Tyler

PSX Blue Debugging Stating model DTL H-1101 USA unit. Completely untested, I do not own the 12vDC power supply. The only PSU I could find at local stores was a $50 notebook universal PSU, and I wasn't willing to personally spend that for an item I wasn't keeping in my collection. I believe you can swap the internal PSU from a retail PSX into this unit, if you do not wish to hunt down a PSU. Some scuffs on unit.
    Current bid: $55 - deksar

PS3 TEST/Prototype USB controller USA. Tested working with my PS3, unique item.
    Current bid: $75 - FoxZero

proto/dev games. All are tested working, except the Secret of the Stars PCB. I do not own the retail versions for comparison. All carts have Eproms and are quite heavy compared to their standard retail Prom brothers and sisters.

    NTSC-U Jaleco R-Type 3 USA cart
    Current bid: $41 - FoxZero

NTSC-U Tecmo Secret of the Stars USA SNES cart. Games does not come in a casing, just the prototype PCB. Not booting up. *As-is*
    Current bid: $55 - MathewCallis

NTSC-J Capcom Demon's Blazon SuperFami Japan cart. Cart says "Makaimura" hand written on label. Title screen says "SAMPLE" on the upper right corner, which is pretty cool. I purchased it hoping it was a proto of the 16-bit 1985 classic "Makaimura" (go figure).
    Current bid: $55 - GhostSeed

NTSC-J Jaleco Fushigi no Blobbi Famicom Japan cart (A boy and his Blob). Full of Eproms.
When I flick a jelly bean at my tubby sister, usually nothing happens. This game is much more fun.
    Current bid: $41 - FoxZero

PS2 Trade-Demo, Sammy Guilty Gear Isuka USA Sample disc. Works on retail NTSC-U consoles. This game wasn't highly accepted in the Guilty Gear world since it's original release on Atomiswave arcade hardware. I purchased this for less than $10 BEFORE street date, doesn't say much about the game. :110:
    Current bid: $7 - FoxZero

Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding everyone. PayPal preferred, it's safe for you and me. If paying by money order, please get a delivery confirmation. If paying by check, please allow check to clear before shipment. Thanks again. :)

Is there one auction per item or one auction for the lot?

I accept PayPal and have my name pictured in the main listing photo. Paypal always sides with the buyer, so I don't really see what the worry is. Here's my ebay profile

    One auction per item. :)

    Just with a USB cord.

Thanks. I put your bid down as one dollar, I won't be doing proxy bidding on this auction so please post the actual amount you would like to bid. Shipping is not included in bid price. If shipping costs are a concern, please send me a PM and I'll let you know what the shipping pricing is for your destination. :)

I thought all prices had to be stated (Ie. No best offer/auction deals)? And if you wanted to auction something, that's what the ebay thread was for?

The eBay thread is for buying and posting links. Dev/Proto items are restricted on eBay, anyway.

I cancelled all bids on Secret of the stars. I tested all the carts again today, and I can't get it to boot up. The cart is still up for auction with bids starting over and is being sold as not booting, as-is. Sorry about that, guys.

A boy and his blob, R-Type III, and Demon's Blazon booted up fine.

I'm not trying to state the obvious here, but many people put bare SNES boards in backwards when they're not in a case. Are you sure you didn't just flip the board the wrong way when testing? ;)

It might be a simple fix.

Nah, I was inserting it with the chips facing the rear of the console. I cleaned the pinout and reseated the chips, but still no go. Maybe it's a bad board, or maybe one of the chips is bad. I have no clue, but I figure you're either getting working chips and a bad board, or a good board and a bad chip. I tried booting it with just the two chips labeled secret of the stars labeled 1 & 2, and just the two chips labeled NHL.RH 0 & 1 thinking that it may actually be two separate games. Once upon a time I could swear that this game booted up, but when I went to test it today, I noticed a pin was bent in on one of the chips. I honestly really can't be sure now, but she's definitely not starting up for me.

Thanks for making the effort to help me out, I appreciate it.
