yesterday, i have modded for 50/60hz. the switching between the modes works like it should but after some time ingame the sound starts to get scratchy and eventually dissappears completely.
Once that happend a few minutes later the video goes black too.

When i start the Game up everything is completely fine but it gets worth the longer the Saturn is turned on.

My saturn is an old model 1 pal version.

removing the switch didnt help either.

Recheck all of your soldering for loose or cracked joints.

Make sure you haven't bridged any connections.

Check all of the capacitors to make sure none of them have gone or look like they're going to go.

Make sure the PSU board is seated correctly, many Saturns have a weak connection there.

If it's none of those the machine could be on it's way out. High res pics of the board and mod would probably help some of the smarter than me people on the board assess the problem.

i will check the soldering once i get a new soldering iron. i have to admitt the soldering is pretty shitty right now. it is a miracle that i was even able to lift the pin without making bridgred connections XD

i had the tought tht it might be a psu problem bu when measured the voltages seem to be alright.

Edit: Thread can be closed. Resoldering did the trick. my Saturn is now alive an kicking again :) Thanks for the help Twimfy
