Hey all We've got a small record collection and a soon to be fixed old jvc la-11 record player. I'd like to transfer the entire collection into digital format, using the line-in port on my laptop. The record setup has an audio out connection(normal headphone style jack) I'd like to create a cable that takes the audio out and goes to the audio/line in on my laptop Like this: http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/P...ine&category=Cables-AudioPlug&product=4202420 I was wondering if i could instead take two headphone jacks(and some of the cable) off of two old pair of headphones, wire them together to make the above cable... My logic dictates that that probably wouldn't work, however i haven't dealt much in this realm of technology, so i'm fairly cluless at this stuff.... Any help is appreciated Ryan
It might work out fine, though, I doubt that the sound quality would be exactly 100% of what it could be if you used an actual male to male cable.
bah, it seems not to work.........windows sound recorder doesn't see it when its plugged in the line in port............... bah....buggar
meh, messed around some more, and ill think ill just spend the 8 bucks lol my modding skills havent been the same since the noac blowup of winter 06 lol Ryan
