    SOLD!!

I'm putting one of my many unique Gamecubes up for sale. This one has a Wii drive replacement modchip fitted to replace the Gamecube DVD Drive (backups/homebrew from SD Card), and for a bit of extra Gamecube scene nostalgia it has the rare 2006 XCM jewel instead of the stock Gamecube jewel (on the top of the case).

For more details on how this drive replacement is possible, you can check out this section on my forum: http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=26

    What you get:
    - PAL DOL-001 Nintendo Gamecube
    - No Optical Disc drive (removed)
    - Wiikey Fusion installed with SD Slot mounted on the exterior of the console

It's quite simple to use, here are the instructions:
    1. Prepare a WBFS SD(HC) card with your games using software I'll provide (or you can grab from the wiikey website). Insert it into the Wiikey SD Slot on the Gamecube
    2. Start up the Gamecube and tap the switch at the back of the console to enable the Wiikey Fusion
    3. Go to the homebrew Wiikey Fusion menu and select what you want to boot up :)

    Extra notes:
2 Disc games are supported by using 2 SD Cards, simply boot up the first game, play, when it asks you to swap the disc, open the lid. Swap SD card and close the lid, simple as that. (The games must be put on the 2 SD cards in a similar way for this to work - i.e. same game slot in the manager)

The only bad thing is that the Wiikey Fusion (like all other drive replacement modchips) does not support audio streaming. So some (about 17) games do not have background music.

That jewel is rare? I have one laying around here somewhere in a box since I just moved, I thought it was ugly so I stuck with a stock gamecube jewel, there aren't too many GC jewels that I find visually appealing.

Still, it's a neat mod though, if I had the money I'd pick it up, but a 100 AUD is a bit too rich for me at the moment.

thanks, happy to put the stock Jewel back in if anyone finds it unappealing. I'm not making any money on this so $100 AUD is as low as I can go, I just want it to get a better home since I'm not using it at all.

Also interested in a trade for some NES/SNES/N64 PAL games or controllers for anything Nintendo

    What SNES games?
I've also got a random 'days of thunder' NES cart, goldeneye and zelda OoT for N64 and a load of SNES games around.

splith, those 2 N64 games and Days of Thunder + this load of SNES games you speak of might do it - might throw in some bonus if the SNES games aren't just your average find by the bucketload games ;)

blaze3927, if you're overseas that might cost you a lot to post, if you're not or don't mind the costs, maybe one or two more items of value to sweeten the pot and you'll have a deal.
