Hey, guys. I just had an NESRGB installed in my AV Famicom and I'm having trouble with the video showing up on my XRGB Framemeister. The SCART cable I'm using is a PAL Gamecube one which is what is recommended and I have a passive EURO SCART in lead for my Framemeister. I only get sound out of the AV Famicom on the Framemeister and no video. Composite out of the AV Famicom into the Framemeister works fine. I've tested the system on a Sony PVM and it works perfectly there. I also know that the Framemeister isn't the culprit because all of my other systems work just fine. So I have a setup that works in every way except for RGB video out of the AV Famicom and through the Framemeister. Anyone have any ideas why the RGB video isn't showing on my Framemeister? Thanks in advance!
Have you tried manually adjusting the sync on the Framemeister? I had this problem on my SNES and it turns out the cable I had bought a while back didn't have C-sync/Raw sync wired in, which is why it worked well on my cheap SCART-to-HDMI adapter, but not my Framemeister.
Did you solder the J8 jumper? Do you have the latest version of the NESRGB board? (1.4?) Others have experienced the same issue with the Framemeister, see http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47617&start=3960
I have seen this issue before. I remember someone suggesting Level 16 adjustment on sync within Framemeister settings.
Excellent suggestions, folks! I'll link my modder here so we can tackle it. I'll report in once we've gotten it down!
