    Hello

I'd like to AV mod this awesome Atari clone I found. It has 1000 games supposedly built in. Most of the classics so far are included and I am very happy with that.

How can I identify video, vcc, audio etc?

Please see below pics of the board.

You're help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats an example of an early clone with discrete chips. Just like an original Atari 2600 it has a RIOT, CPU and TIA chips with an additional rom for the built-in games. I'd say your best bet to get and install a DIY AV-svideo board or even better one of the new 2600 RGB kits: http://etim.net.au/2600rgb/

    Which region is it?

$70. Ouch! More than what I paid for the Atari. Was hoping I can get it done with the regular AV kits available for $10. Or I can make my own at least.

I assume it's PAL since I am in a PAL region.

There's probably not a lot of people who have AV modded one of these clones, so you're probably on your own. There will of course be a composite and audio input into the RF modulator section, but you'll have to poke around.

Yep definitely pricey but i'm assuming its worth the price.

My main Atari 2600 is also a clone. I made my own S-video and Av mod but I also had to convert it into NTSC because it was PAL. As mentioned above, you may be able to tap some form of video near the RF signal but you'll definitely have to check were the signals go.

I guess I am going to need to poke around.

    How can I determine VCC?

As you can tell, I am quite new to this stuff, but slowly learning.
