AV modding famicoms: Did I screw up one of them???

I had followed this guide to AV mod two famicoms, with the first one turning out like this and the other like this.

The problem I had was when I tried to hook them up to the TV. The game tested was 8BIT MUSIC POWER. At this moment of time I'm wondering if it's a matter of the game that causes the issue, or if I had messed up the AV mod somehow...

Any ideas what happened?

Also, going to post this here since I'm not sure where to put this, but apparently this existed. Should I grab one to test things out?
