Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but as I have no pics "price check" forum won't do. So I came across a retail shop recently selling retro games and retro consoles and as you would expect, there's a lot of overpriced stuff. But their Sega (and only their Sega) consoles are incredibly well priced compared to what I think is the value of Sega Consoles are. They all include hookups&1 controller. When I walked in earlier today, the prices for what was available was as follows $30 for a Genesis 1 or Genesis 2, $35 for a Genesis 3. $35 for a Dreamcast. $50 for a Saturn. Is it just me, or do these seem like incredibly good prices for the consoles considering it's a retail store? Are "retail" shops usually this cheap with Sega consoles? I've seen lower prices online, sure, but I don't see the prices on ebay that much cheaper. And it's only their Sega consoles that are this well priced. Their other retro consoles are ridiculous prices (what I would expect from Retail Retro stores).
Already own a Saturn from my childhood, it just seems strange to me as I always considered $50-ish to be online prices and that a retail shop would have it quite a bit more expensive. edit: by "online" I mean Ebay.
Got my Saturn and SMS about 3-4 years ago for 40 each. Came with everything. Market changes so much dunno if that is still the case.
