Just bought mine. Takes care of that horrible original Master System controller that SEGA made. Check this out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-retail-...Attachments&hash=item2316f2797a#ht_1784wt_133
I think 13 USD + $6.50 USD is a bit much for an SMS controller. All they are is a case, a PCB and some wire, there is no IC inside it. The big problem with Sega brand SMS controllers is the Dpad supports can break and the Dpad fall out, but a bit of super glue and some new supports should do the trick.
I do use a genesis controller whenever possible but it's not compatible with different SMS games like shanghai, penguin land, alien syndrome and a few others
Original controllers can sometimes work a bit better after an inside cleaning... But indeed this is a great controller with auto & turbo fire!
No amount of cleaning can make the D-pad on the original SEGA MASTER controller good. It's bad by design. Hitting precise directions on it is very difficult. Doing the codes for Space Harrier on it, Choplifter, whatever it was, was near impossible often.
It's just a problem the select line of Genesis controller. If you have an extra Genesis controller (I'm talking about the 3 Button one), just cut the gray wire inside it and you are ready to go. No more compatibility problems with SMS games.
