    I received my case yesterday,fitted it today.
    Crystal purple.

    the open/close button doesn't work!!

    how about a replacement that works please?

    Sounds like installer error more than a bad case. If they "didn't work" something would've been obvious before you fitted it.

    Nobody made any. Making them now would require fabrication from scratch.

    It didn't work before I installed it!
    i hoped that something in the assembly would allow it to work, but it doesn't .

    I personally installed a Messiah modchip in a ps2 which worked the first time with 84 connections.
    so it isn't installer error!!


    repeat - I need a replacement that works properly !!

    Having a little trouble with mine, it goes down til there's about a 5mm gap and then doesn't seem to want to go any further. Feels like something towards the back end is catching or obscuring.

    Did anyone else find this, and if so any tips?

    have you got a viper chip fitted.?
    where my viper sits i needed to dremel some of the under side case to allow my case to fit snug.

    nope just a standard console. I did notice it goes down a lot better when the front and back plates are unclipped, so probably just need to fiddle about a bit more :smile-new:
