Hi, i got a V1.6 Xbox standing in front of me. It has the 5838 Kernel that i would like to backup. Have done this on a lot of old revisions, but the V1.6 has the Flash embedded in the Xyclops chip. Does anyone know how i can make a backup of it?
That would be great! It doesn't even need to be saved to a usb stick. It could also be saved on the internal HDD. It would be great to have a feature to read out the content of the flash to backup the Kernel. Would be great if you could take a look at it Myria. And thanks a lot!
What game do you have that can be exploited to load the dumping tool? I can just make a simple fake-retail-signed .xbe file to dump flash if you like, but I don't know whether the exploit you're using would be capable of loading it. I can make whatever the exploit requires, but need to know what that is. The reason I'm helping is I'd like a dump of that version, too =^_^=
